Private Parties/Functions

Would you like to host a bridal shower,
baby shower, or birthday party, but worried about spending the time or energy on menu-planning, time-intensive food preparation,
tea cup and teapot acquisition, and pre-and post-party clean up? Well, we’d love to help you host
a tea party in our semi-private Victorian Dining Room!

We do all the set up: Table

We do all the made from scratch food preparation,

do the beautiful tiered food presentation: For Hawthorn Luncheon and
Monarch High Tea Sets
Optional:
We
can provide photos and party favors: Complimentary photo and specially packaged sample
of our House tea for the guest of honor $1 + tax for each additional photo $2 + tax for
each additional package of tea, designed especially for your event (pre-orders required)
We do all the
clean up after the party is over: Gift wrap and decoration disposal Dishes, sweeping, and mopping, of course!
All you need to do is choose the tea set menu option, call
us to make your reservation, send in a deposit to secure your booking, send out invitations requiring an RSVP, confirm your
final guest count with us prior to the event, then relax and enjoy yourself during the tea party. Well
worth the splurge! (Please read "Additional
Information" below for more details.)

use fee, and state sales tax. (Gratuity is not included and you may add it at your discretion at time of
payment).

*The amount for the deposit will be determined at the time
the reservation is made and will be applied toward the final bill the day of your event. *Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel
your reservation within two weeks of the scheduled event. *We will hold your reservation up to one week while we wait for payment
for the deposit.

Final Guest Count
|
*The week prior to your scheduled event, we will call you
to get an idea of a head count for your party. During this time, we will need to know if anyone in your
party has any food restrictions. *We will
happily accommodate special diets (vegetarian, vegan, nut-free, gluten-free) at no extra charge if given at least two days’
notice. We are unable to make additional substitutions during the day or time of your event. *The latest that any changes can
be made to your final head count (additions or subtractions) is 3 pm the day before your event. Set up
and food preparation will be completed for that final number and you will be billed for that final number, even if your guests
unfortunately choose not to attend your party at the last moment. We will happily box up any leftover food
for you or your guests to take home in that event.

Room Restrictions
|
*Our semi-private Victorian-styled Dining Room can seat
a maximum of: 14 guests with a second table
available for a gift table OR
16 guests with no gift table option. *This room is available during our regular business hours of Tuesday through Saturday. *Your event may start at either
10 am or 1 pm, with food service beginning within a half hour of the scheduled start time to accommodate late arrivals.
(Please ask that your guests arrive in a timely manner so that your party can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner.
You may feel rushed if there is a party scheduled after yours.) *If your guest list is greater than 16 guests (but no more than
32), we may be able to accommodate your party on a Sunday, giving you exclusive use of our entire tea room. However,
your menu option is limited to the Hawthorn Luncheon Tea. Your deposit is refundable if your event is cancelled
with two weeks of the scheduled date, but will not be applied toward the final bill if your party is less than 17 guests.
